Merry Christmas from the Castle Woods Sanatorium
… and thank you for your support!
With the snow settling on the roofs of the sanatorium, the year draws to a close. We at Zeitglas would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us so far.
In February, we founded our company to focus on the development of our game. A lot has happened since then, and we would like to briefly summarise this with thanks:
Thank you Pro Helvetia for giving us the opportunity to meet countless new people from the industry in Cologne and Paris, and thanks also for all the benefits and support we’ve got from being part of the SWISSGAMES Showcase! Thanks to SGDA for taking us to the Zurich Pop Con. Thanks also to Global Top Round for choosing us as one of the top 20 from over 400 applicants this year and inviting us to their conference in beautiful LuleĆ„. Thanks to all the Publishers and Investors we were able to present our game to at these events. And thanks also to all the Journalists, Influencers and Streamers who tested our game and reported about it. Thanks to all our play testers, who helped us again and again with their feedback. Thanks to all our playtesters, who helped us again and again with their feedback. Thanks to Swiss Game Hub for the great shared office space and thanks to Stray Fawn, Ateo, Ninoko, LaufLauf, Lululu, Shirakumo and all the other developers who share this little oasis in Zurich with us. Thanks to GYLD for helping us with all the tons of business stuff and thanks to our mentor Rufus Kubica from 11bit Studios for all the support and the feedback. Finally, we want to thank all our friends and acquaintances who have supported us this year with their help and understanding.
Now we would like to take this opportunity to announce our further plans:
Now we would like to take this opportunity to announce our further plans: Currently, we are working hard on a new demo to expand the game mechanics and the “management” aspect of the game. The scope and possibilities in the game will be expanded, and the player will be able to explore more of the Sanatorium in addition to the “daily work routine”. Thanks to the help of our new Technical Artist Sibel, the interaction with the patient files and the cards will feel and look even better.
Our big goal is to be able to present this demo at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco in March. Thanks to Pro Helvetia again, we will be able to participate in this event and we are really looking forward to it.
We wish you a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a Bright New Year!
