Dressing up for Gamescom

Gamescom 2022 is getting closer and we are currently busy optimizing our Vertical Slice. Our focus is to improve the game loop in the midgame, where the player already holds a couple of patient files and a bunch of cards. In the upcoming demo for Gamescom, you can either choose to start from the beginning or jump right into the middle of the game. This way we can give players who already know the tutorial the opportunity to dive right into the gameplay – and hopefully get hooked to the game loop.

Besides working on the Vertical Slice, the highlight this week was the arrival of our new merchandising. With lots of colorful shirts, a simple black hoodie and caps, we are ready to show up in Cologne.

At Gamescom 2022 you will meet us in the business area at the swissgames booth. There you can meet us and try out the newest demo of SANATORIUM. We are looking forward to getting to know you and are glad about every feedback we get from you.

Besides the booth we will have several opportunities to pitch our games and meet publishers and investors to talk about possible cooperation. Last but not least, we hope to find some time to listen to some interesting talks and that there will be some time left in the evening to get to know the city of Cologne.
